Auric Secures Processing Hardware to Fast-Track Burbanks

Bulls N' Bears has covered Auric Mining's acquisition of a significant package of processing infrastructure for the Burbanks gold project, secured for $1.2 million against an estimated $15 million to $20 million cost for equivalent new equipment.

The package, sourced from a closed mine site in New South Wales, locks in the critical long lead items needed for Auric's planned 600,000tpa carbon-in-leach processing plant. It includes a complete three-stage crushing circuit, fine ore bin, conveyors, material handling equipment, shedding and a milling structure, along with all associated spare parts and consumables, plus two spare cone crushers and one spare jaw crusher.

Auric identified the equipment during preparation of its July Burbanks-Munda integrated scoping study, with the purchase now securing the capital and schedule benefits assumed in that report. Specialist contractor Interquip has been engaged to begin dismantling and relocation in Q4 2026, with all equipment expected on site at Burbanks during Q1 2027 ahead of reconstruction. Auric is targeting a Q1 2028 restart for the plant, with the acquired infrastructure also providing a platform for potential future expansion to 1.2Mtpa.
